Raleway Type Specimen Site

Raleway Type is a type specimen website that promotes the qualities of the typeface. Raleway has a large type system wielding 18 type styles ranging from extra thin to heavy including italic versions of each. Its type style variations are reminiscent of nature in that the extra thins to light resemble air, regular to semi-bold resemble water, as the bold to heavy and extra bold resemble rock. This conclusion was made by examining the curvature of the type as the styles progress from thin to bold. These changes resemble the qualities of natural elements, therefore, it was the main inspiration to the design of the type specimen website.
